This is Volume 7 of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series (tankōbon Volume 7; the original Japanese edition was published by Shueisha in August 2017, and the Traditional Chinese edition was published by Tong Li Publishing in June 2019, translated by Lin Zhi-chang). Under the arrangement and treatment of Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho, Tanjiro and his companions recover from their injuries and, through training, master Total Concentration: Constant, enabling them to maintain a state of concentrated Breathing Technique twenty-four hours a day. The group then receives new orders from the Demon Slayer Corps: they board the Mugen Train and, alongside Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku, set out to slay the demon lurking aboard. What awaits them on the train, however, is a dream world crafted by the demon—Tanjiro and his friends are trapped in their own dreams while their physical bodies lie asleep, leaving them in grave danger. This volume covers the beginning of the Mugen Train mission and the offensive and defensive struggle within the dream predicament; it is a key opening part of the original's Mugen Train arc and prominently features the debut of Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku and the coordination among Demon Slayer Corps members. The dialogue and art style continue the series' consistent shonen manga approach, balancing tense battle pacing with emotional depictions of family bonds.
