Summary
A+X is a short-story team-up anthology Marvel launched during the "Marvel NOW!" era; each issue pairs one Avenger with one X-Man and tells two separate short stories. This 15th issue (released December 11, 2013; cover date February 2014) contains two threads. The first, by Jai Nitz and Greg Smallwood, is "Doctor Strange + Beast": an absurd adventure in which magic and science collide head-on, with the two of them causing havoc all the way into the Dark Dimension, and the artwork plays plenty of tricks in the otherworldly passages. The second, by Gerry Duggan and David Yardin, is part three of the six-part "Captain America + Cyclops" serial: Captain America and Cyclops follow up on clues with a downed Skrull, only to be ambushed by Skrulls disguised as fast-food employees; White Queen, the Stepford Cuckoos, and Hank Pym join the fight in turn, while the Skrulls' true scheme targets something much larger. The issue runs 32 full-color pages—a typical periodical with self-contained episodes, suited to casual reading.

这一期最能体现《A+X》的巧思：它把「魔法派」和「科学派」直接关进同一个故事里，让奇异博士和野兽互相看不顺眼又不得不合作，读者熟悉的两位角色在短短十页里被写出了新味道。另一半则是「美国队长＋镭射眼」六话长线的第三段，此时两位队长已从互相讥讽转向并肩作战，斯库鲁人的伏击把节奏一下子拉快，白皇后和三胞胎布谷鸟的登场也很有看点。格里·达根的幽默感在快餐店变身戏里发挥得淋漓尽致，大卫·亚丁的分镜干净利落。需要提醒的是，这终究是期刊而非完整长篇，两条故事都只是更大拼图中的一块，单独购买前最好确认自己是否接受「看一半」的阅读体验。
