Superboy Vol. 18

Summary
This volume is issue #18 of DC's New 52 Superboy series (launched 2011), released March 13, 2013. The "H'EL ON EARTH" event has just concluded; Superboy Kon-El leaves his previous situation for a new city with a new secret identity, while a new adversary is following his trail. Superman also makes a guest appearance, tying into the series' main storyline. The lead story, "Mind Your Manners," unfolds amid urban chaos: Superboy returns the millions of dollars he had "borrowed" to a Manhattan bank vault, just as the villain Plasmus smashes through the wall, and the two clash on the spot. Dr. Psycho, a psychic villain who often operates in New York as a medium, arrives at the scene; his astral form is drawn into Superboy's intense subconscious memories, where he glimpses clues connected to Lex Luthor, laying groundwork for later revelations about Kon-El's origins. The volume also includes the short story "Good Boy," about an alien castaway in the Amazon jungle hunted by "the Fortress" troops and rescued by Superdog Krypto — brief, and more of a teaser. Overall, this issue is regarded as a "re-entry point" back to Superboy's solo storyline after "H'EL ON EARTH."
Editor's review

FAQ
