This volume is issue #31 of the DC New 52 series Catwoman (2011), written by Ann Nocenti, with interior art by Patrick Olliffe and Tom Nguyen and covers by Terry Dodson and Rachel Dodson. The story continues the Race of Thieves arc: Selina Kyle leaves the familiar streets of Gotham to follow clues in the Race of Thieves and travels to Central City. This issue centers on an obstacle-course-style contest in which Selina must prove, under an unfamiliar city's rules, that she is still the top thief. 「新52」时期的《猫女》是一部容易被低估的作品。安·诺琴蒂接手后，把赛琳娜从哥谭的阴影里带出去，放进「盗贼竞速」这场横跨多城的较量中，让猫女的故事更接近一场高风险赌局，而不是单纯的义警动作戏。第31期正处在竞速故事线的中段，中城的主场优势、无赖帮的地方势力、「轮盘」设下的规则，都把赛琳娜推到一个完全客场、处处受限的处境里。看点在于：她如何在对手的地盘上靠技巧而非蛮力翻盘。奥利夫与阮的分镜干练，多德森夫妇的封面依旧是赛琳娜最标志性的姿态。对于正在补完「新52」哥谭系作品的读者，这一期是不可跳过的一环；对只想读单篇故事的人，则建议把它当成故事线中的一段来读。
