Nightcrawler Vol. 4

Summary
This volume is issue #4 of the 2004 third series of Marvel's Nightcrawler, published December 22, 2004, and serves as "The Exorcism," the final chapter of "The Devil Inside" arc. Thirteen boys die in succession, and the sole survivor, Seth, is taken away by the mystagogue Dr. Louis Childs. Childs uses the lives of fourteen children as a "flesh corridor" to bring fourteen demons into the world, while the last demon, Pazuzu, remains sealed inside Seth; to release it, Seth must die. Nightcrawler Kurt Wagner and Shadowcat Kitty Pryde infiltrate the Dakota apartments to stop Childs. Childs instead cuts the knot binding Seth, letting the demons pour out of the boy, and is himself killed by the uncontrollable Pazuzu. The X-Men arrive, and Magik (Amanda Sefton) uses the fourteen clay figures Seth molded to reseal the demons within them and carry them into the hell dimension. After the affair subsides, Seth is sent to Xavier's school to learn to control his powers, and Nightcrawler finally saves the boy.
Editor's review

Reading tips
FAQ
