Scripture of the Human Sovereign is an Eastern fantasy novel by the web author Kongshen, serialized on Zhulang Literature Network and later launched on platforms such as Zhangyue and Baidu Novel. The book runs to roughly over a thousand chapters and millions of characters and is complete. The story is set in a distant primeval era: the human race once flourished, and the four quarters of heaven and earth and the ten thousand races submitted; to make the human race supreme forever, the great powers of the race, as their lifespans neared their end, burned their last lives and with supreme power wrote a scripture, the Scripture of the Human Sovereign. As ages passed, the human race gradually declined, the scripture disappeared, and few even remembered hearing of it. After a cataclysm, the protagonist Su Yang awakens from the ice of Earth and by chance obtains the Scripture of the Human Sovereign, beginning his path of cultivation. Starting from the lowest rank of cultivator, he uses the cultivation methods and mysterious characters contained in the scripture to break through realms step by step, contending with various forces and experts in the wider world beyond Earth, and gradually uncovering the secrets of his own origins and the true history of the scripture. The book's skeleton interweaves two lines: the growth of a small figure and the revival of the human race—on one side the layered upgrades of realms, artifacts, and techniques; on the other the sense of mission for a race's rise and fall. The novel is divided into several major volumes, including "Earth Volume," "Black Dragon Island," "Turbulent Immortal World," "A New Journey," and "Holy Demon Plane," each switching to a different world and style, with the protagonist rising from Earth's "Madman Su" to the position of "Human Sovereign" revered by the human race.
