Uncanny Avengers Vol. 9

Uncanny Avengers, relaunched in 2015, is the story of one Avengers squad in the All-New, All-Different era following Marvel's Secret Wars. Assembled under Steve Rogers, the team crosses humans, mutants, and Inhumans: Rogue (Anna Marie), Deadpool, Cable (Nathan Summers), Human Torch, Synapse, Quicksilver, and others all serve. Dubbed the Unity Squad, its mission is to prove to the world, at a time of tense human-mutant relations, that different peoples can fight side by side. The series opens with an Inhuman called the Shredder, awakened by Terrigen Mist, who controls plants and takes revenge on humanity; the team clashes with him in Boston while Cable arrives from the future and is drawn into the crisis. The story later moves to the floating casino Bagalia and the mutant town of Pleasant Hill, with villains such as Red Skull involved. This volume is the ninth of the series, covering a set of issues beginning with issue #9 of the 2015 run, telling of Rogue's misgivings about New Orleans and her encounter with Gambit. The exact issue numbers collected, the Chinese edition's title, and its arrangement are subject to the physical copy.
