Uncanny Avengers Vol. 4

Summary
This volume is the fourth book in the Chinese edition of Marvel's Uncanny Avengers series. The series was originally written by Rick Remender and launched in the aftermath of the Avengers vs. X-Men event: with Professor X dead, Captain America (Steve Rogers) resolves to form a joint squad made up of both Avengers and X-Men, so that humans and mutants fight side by side and show the world what cooperation between the two can look like. Members over time include Rogue, the Scarlet Witch, Sunfire, Wolverine, Wonder Man, the Wasp, Quicksilver, Doctor Voodoo, and later Deadpool and others; humans, mutants, and Inhumans share one team, keeping trust and adjustment within the ranks under constant strain. Compared with mainline titles such as Avengers and New Avengers, this series focuses more on emotional conflict and questions of identity among team members, while weaving threads such as time travel, the Apocalypse Twins, and Kang into a larger crisis. Because publication details for the individual Chinese volumes are scattered, the exact issues and plot of this volume could not be reliably verified, so only the series background is given here: this is volume 4 of the series, suited to readers who have already read the earlier volumes and are familiar with Marvel's post-2012 Marvel NOW! era.
Editor's review
Who it's for
A good fit for
Not a good fit for
Reading tips
FAQ
