Green Arrow #52

Summary
This is issue #52 of DC's Green Arrow series from the New 52 era and the final issue of the series under that framework, written by Benjamin Percy with art by Szymon Kudranski and published on May 4, 2016. The story picks up directly from the previous issue: Oliver Queen is assassinated by Deathstroke but miraculously revived by the blood of Doctor Miracle left on the blade that pierced him, which also cures his wolfsbane virus infection. Deathstroke has meanwhile abducted Doctor Miracle and delivered him to the dying tycoon Geoffrey Paragon in exchange for payment; in Seattle, the conflict between the Berserkers and the Patriots escalates, infected "War Wolves" are rounded up in internment camps in large numbers, and long-suppressed fury finally erupts. Oliver must race back to Seattle to stop the hate-monger's purge and use Doctor Miracle's power to obtain a cure for the infected. As a closing chapter, the issue draws the Africa and Seattle threads together and leaves a doorway for the new Green Arrow era in DC Universe Rebirth.
Editor's review
