Summary
This is volume 2 of the collected edition of the "12" series. The exact Chinese edition details for this volume—publisher, translator, and ISBN—cannot currently be verified, so the following only introduces the series' known background and does not cover this volume's specific plot. The series adapts Marvel Comics' The Twelve, written by J. Michael Straczynski with Chris Weston as lead artist, telling the story of twelve World War II-era superheroes who were cryogenically frozen for more than sixty years and awaken in the 21st century to face the world anew. The cast includes the Phantom Reporter, Electro, Black Widow, The Laughing Mask, The Blue Blade, Dynamic Man, Mastermind Excello, Mister E, The Fiery Mask, The Witness, Rockman, and Captain Wonder. These "men of tomorrow from yesterday" discover that the future they once fought for has changed beyond recognition: those they knew are either in their graves or waiting out their final days in nursing homes, and the question arises whether their old-fashioned brand of heroism still has a place in this new era. A mystery thread runs through the story as someone begins hunting down the twelve one by one, and themes of sacrifice, betrayal, and human nature unfold along the way. This is volume 2 of the series; for the specific contents and collection range, please refer to the copyright page of the physical book.
Editor's review

FAQ
