Rurouni Kenshin: Complete Edition is a complete edition of the representative work Rurouni Kenshin by the Japanese manga artist Nobuhiro Watsuki, rearranged and revised with added material. It follows the order of the original serialized chapters and adds supplementary content such as the author's afterwords and setting materials. Set in Tokyo in the early Meiji era, the original work tells the story of Himura Kenshin, once known as the "Hitokiri Battōsai," who vows never to kill again in the new era and wanders with a reversed-blade sword, forming bonds with Kamiya Kaoru, Myōjin Yahiko, Sagara Sanosuke, and others. This volume is the fifth in the series.
