This volume is the eighth in the series, corresponding to issue #8 of the 2014 English-language series Inhuman, titled "Part 8: Comes the Light" (released November 19, 2014). Following the Infinity event, the Terrigen Mist unleashed by Black Bolt spreads across the globe, awakening countless ordinary people as Inhumans. Queen Medusa struggles to maintain order in New Attilan while the king is missing. Meanwhile, Black Bolt and his brother Maximus, the two Boltagons, are pursuing their own secret agenda: their actions in New Avengers have already drawn attention, but the truth is far more than that. This volume turns its gaze to the brothers' feud and crisis, and the story takes a turn that bodes ill for one of them. It also introduces new characters: Nur, a newly awakened Inhuman police officer, and Auran, a member of the Inhuman security task force. Overall, against the backdrop of new Inhumans emerging worldwide, this volume advances both the internal and external threads of the Inhuman royal family, paving the way for the subsequent AXIS crossover and the struggle for the throne.
