Inhuman Vol. 5

Summary
This volume is the fifth installment of Marvel's 2014 Inhuman series, corresponding to Inhuman (2014) #5, "Empty Throne." After the events of Infinity, Black Bolt detonates Attilan, and the Terrigen Mists spread across the globe, awakening countless ordinary people carrying Inhuman genes as new Inhumans. Medusa, queen of the Inhumans, leads her scattered people to rebuild their home and struggles to secure a place for the newborn Inhumans in the human world. Yet the former Inhuman monarch, the Unspoken, stripped of his throne, has returned. He will stop at nothing to reclaim his kingdom, and he sets his sights on the Inhumans of Attilan and on Medusa herself. In this volume, he and his followers strike suddenly, dealing the royal family a heavy blow and plunging the newly stabilized Inhuman society back into turmoil. Meanwhile, young new Inhumans caught up in the conflict, such as Flint and Dante, are pushed to the fore, and whether they can rise to the occasion is the key question of this volume. Written by Charles Soule, this volume carries on the series' cold, solemn, regal atmosphere. It is the fifth volume of the series, and readers are advised to read Volumes 1 through 4 first to understand the fall of Attilan, the spread of the Terrigen Mists, and Medusa's rule.
Editor's review

Reading tips
FAQ
