Inhuman Vol. 3

This volume is the Chinese edition of Inhuman (2014–2015) Vol. 3, written by Charles Soule, corresponding to the original English issue Inhuman (2014) #3. Its backdrop follows the Marvel event Infinity: after Black Bolt detonates the Terrigen Bomb and shatters the floating city of Attilan, the Terrigen Mists spread across the globe, awakening the Inhuman bloodline latent in human genes; people around the world undergo "Terrigenesis" one after another, becoming new powers called NuHumans. King Black Bolt is missing, and Queen Medusa alone holds together this fractured nation, seeking to claim these uneasy and powerful newcomers as subjects of the Inhuman kingdom. Issue #3 closes the first arc: Medusa confronts the fanatical Inhuman Lash head-on, uncovering the buried history of an ancient Inhuman branch; the newly transformed Flint watches his world fall apart; and the struggle over "who has the right to define the future of Inhumans" sharpens among the various factions. Joe Madureira provides the art, with highly dynamic visuals, especially striking in the rendering of hair and light effects. Note that this volume is only the third issue of a 14-issue run; the story does not end here and continues into the AXIS tie-in phase.
