This is Volume 2 of the Chinese collection of Marvel's Inhuman (launched in 2014), corresponding to the English edition Inhuman Vol. 2: Axis (collecting Inhuman #7–11). The story follows directly from Volume 1, "After the Fall": as Terrigen mist spreads across the globe, large numbers of ordinary people awaken as NuHumans, and Medusa, queen of the Inhumans, is forced to rebuild the kingdom from the ruins and to shelter and unite these new compatriots. In this volume, Black Bolt, the Inhuman king widely believed dead, returns to center stage; he and his brother Maximus the Mad had been secretly entangled in the affairs of the New Avengers, and the brothers' conflict heads toward an ugly end. Meanwhile, the "inversion" effect of the AXIS event affects Medusa, making her ruling style unrecognizable. The mysterious Ennilux corporation surfaces, its future tangled with that of the Inhumans; Reader and Iso appear again but fall into danger. The question of the throne, the fate of the race, and the rift between old and new Inhumans all erupt in this volume. This is Volume 2 of the Chinese collection and should be read in sequence with Volume 1.
