Inhuman Vol. 12

Summary
This volume corresponds to issue 12 of Marvel's Inhuman series launched in 2014, with the story title translatable as "Split." After the Terrigen Bomb explosion, ordinary people of Inhuman lineage (NuHumans, meaning "new Inhumans") awaken around the world; after Black Bolt goes missing, Medusa holds the fort alone in New Attilan off the coast of New York. In this volume, the Ennilux Corporation attacks New Attilan to seize Iso, a girl with the power to absorb energy, and the new Inhumans fight as a team for the first time; Black Bolt suddenly returns, defeats the invaders in combat, yet also comes face to face with his long-separated wife. Medusa voices her long-suppressed reproach and refuses to give up the throne; in the end Black Bolt acknowledges her rule through his actions and relinquishes the throne. Subplots involving Iso and Reader, Nur, Flint, Naja, and Inferno also converge into the same scene in this volume, and a thread is planted for Lineage's covert actions. This volume is the 12th in the series.
Editor's review
