Summary
All-New, All-Different Avengers #0 (Avengers 2015 #0) is an anthology of several chapters released at the launch of the "All-New, All-Different Marvel" initiative. The story is set about eight months after the end of Secret Wars: the trauma of the multiversal collision lingers in the heroes' memory, and the old Avengers order built around Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor has collapsed, with Tony Stark and Steve Rogers each forming their own team. The #0 issue is not a single complete arc but a collection of six short stories, each introducing an All-New, All-Different Avengers-related series that followed: Squadron Supreme; the All-New, All-Different Avengers title (featuring the Vision and the Scarlet Witch); A-Force (Captain Marvel and an all-female Alpha team encounter Singularity); All-New, All-Different New Avengers; Uncanny Avengers (Deadpool is invited to join the Unity Squad); and Ultimates (Ms. America crosses dimensional rifts to mend the sky). These seemingly independent fragments are tied together by an observer's viewpoint: someone is secretly studying the Avengers and those around them, and whether this figure is friend or foe sets up suspense for the whole Avengers line. The volume is positioned as an entry point, a primer for entering the All-New, All-Different era.
Editor's review
Who it's for
A good fit for
Not a good fit for

Reading tips
FAQ
