Summary
The All-Around Master (formerly The Actress's All-Around Master) is a modern urban web novel by Wei Zhang, a contracted author on Heiyan Reading. The protagonist, Tang Shuo, comes from the mysterious organization "037" and retires because his health is failing. After leaving, he saves the popular actress Lu Wanqi on Fengqing Mountain and then accepts her offer to become her bodyguard. On the condition that he keeps some private time, Tang Shuo officially enters the profession, and an urban story built around a "little bodyguard" begins. The star's life is full of trouble—paparazzi, rivals, capital, and various forces take turns appearing—and Tang Shuo uses the skills, experience, and judgment honed in "037" to defuse one crisis after another. At the same time, handling all kinds of situations, he accumulates connections and resources, gradually moving from a hired bodyguard toward building a force of his own. The book's main thread is "bodyguard protects the star, crises are resolved, connections expand," with brisk pacing and both urban-life detail and fight scenes. It began exclusive serialization on platforms such as Migu Yuekan on November 1, 2016, and concluded on January 7, 2021, at about 1.474 million characters in 560 chapters.
Editor's review

Reading tips
