Venomized is a five-issue limited series launched by Marvel Comics in 2018, written by Cullen Bunn and drawn by Kevin Libranda and Iban Coello, among others. It is the concluding chapter of the Venomverse storyline. This volume is issue #4, released on April 25, 2018. The story follows Venomverse and Venom & X-Men: Poison X: a cross-dimensional race called the Poisons lives by devouring symbiote hosts, and after tasting the flavor of superhero powers, they set their sights on the main universe (Earth-616). The Poisons forcibly bond masses of heroes and villains with symbiotes and then consume them, while Venom and the X-Men have been missing since the Poison X incident, leaving Earth nearly defenseless. By the time they return to Earth, dozens of heroes and villains have been forced into symbiote shells. In this issue, Earth's symbiote-ized defenders continue fierce battle with the Poison invaders who intend to devour all symbiotes and life; the X-Men believe a new ally has appeared who can turn the tide, while Venom and Earth's heroes stake a high-risk counterattack to try to end the war, for better or worse. The series is published under Marvel's T+ rating, and this issue has 21 pages of story.
