Superboy #34 is the final issue of the main series of the same name from The New 52 era, written by Aaron Kuder and drawn by Jorge Jiménez. It was released on August 13, 2014, with a cover date of October 2014; the story is titled "Know Thy Self." The setup: multiple timelines' Jon Lane Kents come into contact with one another, triggering a time paradox, and to prevent the universe from collapsing, they—along with the clone Kon-El—are pushed into a self-contained pocket universe. In this issue, Superboys from parallel Earths across the Multiverse are gathered in a N.O.W.H.E.R.E. facility and forced into a melee. Niti covers the others' retreat with Green Lantern power, the good Jon and Kon walk readers through the tangled timeline, and the evil Jon uses his own power to take control of the remaining Superboys and send them into battle against the two. Kon and Rose Wilson unleash frozen N.O.W.H.E.R.E. killers to help, and at last the two Jon Lane Kents face off directly, crash together into the barrier of the pocket universe, and annihilate each other; the abducted Superboys are returned to their proper places, and Kon-El is resurrected. The issue closes out the 34-issue series (2011–2014) with a decisive battle.
