Solo: The One-Man War on Terror

James Bourne, codename Solo, is an independent operative in the Marvel Universe who specializes in counterterrorism missions. He can teleport over short distances, is highly skilled with firearms and hand-to-hand combat, and lives by the motto "As long as Solo is alive, terror will never succeed." In the new timeline following Secret Wars, he was briefly a founding member of Deadpool's Mercs for Money before striking out on his own and relaunching his solo series. This volume collects the five-issue miniseries released during Marvel's 2016 All-New, All-Different era: lethal alien weapons have fallen into the hands of ordinary criminals, and Solo is sent to infiltrate a dangerous biker gang to trace the source, following the trail to an arms dealer and ultimately sparking a direct confrontation between S.H.I.E.L.D. and Egghead. Written by Deadpool scribes Gerry Duggan and Geoffrey Thorne and drawn by Paco Diaz, the story blends high-octane action with dry-witted spy drama. The Chinese edition belongs to the Marvel general comics collection line and includes all five issues of the miniseries, making it a good pick for readers curious about one of Marvel's less prominent characters. Note that no reliable public record of the Chinese edition's publisher, publication year, or translator could be found, so those fields are left blank.
