About the author

Wang Lihong is an author about whom limited public information is available; his writing and editorial work mainly concern classical poetry education and the cultivation of young people's competencies. Four of his works are held in the collection: Feihualing: A Poetry Library, Feihualing (4 volumes), Appreciation Ability—Theory and Methods for Cultivating Teenagers' Core Competencies, and Innocent Purity in the Human World. Judging from the titles and common categories, Wang attends both to popularizing and organizing classical poetry, using the traditional feihualing game to draw readers closer to poetry, and to educational theory, discussing how teenagers' core competencies can be developed; Innocent Purity in the Human World shows that his writing also touches on modern poetry. Overall, his works combine the transmission of traditional culture with educational practice, addressing practical themes and suited to general readers and educators alike.
