He gradually realizes that he cannot change the past and can only endure it. Meanwhile, the current Captain America, Bucky Barnes, the Black Widow, and others continue to contend with Norman Osborn's Dark Avengers and H.A.M.M.E.R.; Reed Richards and Pym try to find in Sharon the key to bringing Steve back to the present.
