Ancestor of Evil is an Eastern fantasy novel by Youwei, completed on Chuangshi Chinese Network on November 22, 2014. It runs to about 3.16 million characters in roughly 1,200 chapters. The book's core question is not simple good versus evil but whether "possession by an evil spirit means degeneration"—Yuan Ye anchors himself in humanity, struggling against and with the evil spirit within him; for the one he loves he will raise a sea of blood, and for the dignity of his kind he will bathe in blood to slay demons.
