Lord of Creation

Summary
The protagonist, Chu Yang, is an ordinary young man from Earth who is transported by a bronze door pendant to the Tianwu Continent, a world where martial prowess reigns supreme. He becomes the third son of the Chu family in Heyang County, only to witness his entire family slaughtered by masked assassins, with him as the sole survivor. Through the bronze door, he can continuously enter "illusory worlds" derived from Earth fiction (Feng Yun, The Legend of Li Xunhuan, The Twin Dragons of the Great Tang, Zhu Xian, The Legend of Qin, Chinese Paladin, Shrouding the Heavens, Stellar Transformations, Eternal Life, Primordial Chaos, and others), acquiring cultivation techniques, resources, and fortuitous opportunities before returning to the main world to grow stronger.
The cosmology is structured around two tiers: the "real world" and the "illusory worlds." When characters in an illusory world break free from their destined fate, they transition from illusion to reality. Once enough ascenders accumulate, an entire world gathers fortune, shatters its barriers, and becomes a real plane. Above the main world of Tianwu Continent lie, in ascending order, the Great Wilderness Immortal Realm (one of the Three Thousand Immortal Realms) and the Primordial Sacred Realm. Cultivation proceeds along three parallel paths: spell cultivation, martial cultivation, and spiritual cultivation. Chu Yang begins by studying under the Sword Sage in the Feng Yun world, then ascends through the realms, gathering powerful allies and seeking long-term prosperity for humanity. He ultimately reaches the pinnacle of the Primordial Chaos, takes command of creation, and evolves from a pawn manipulated by fate into the "Lord of Creation" who shapes the causality of all worlds.
With its brisk pacing and high density of world-hopping arcs, the novel is a representative work of the "multiverse-hopping" genre circa 2017. On Qidian, it received roughly 120,000 bookmarks, 460,000 recommendations, and a rating of 8.5.
