Summary
The Cursed Dragon is a long fantasy novel by the web author "Passing Transmigrator," serialized on Qidian from May 22, 2017, and completed on July 6, 2022. It runs to more than ten million characters and has not yet seen official print publication. The protagonist, Zheng Yichen, was originally a modern human; after his soul transmigrates to another world, he hatches from a petrified dragon egg as a young dragon. Because he took over the body, he has neither the dragon heritage nor any knowledge of the world's language or customs. He begins by eating stones to survive and is soon targeted by adventurers, nearly becoming livestock or the object of a dragon slaying. Relying on dragon might and traps, he scrapes by robbing human mercenaries, which in turn draws an endless stream of dragon slayers. By chance he is rescued by a witch, who tells him he is on the dragon race's blacklist as the "Cursed Dragon": the difference in soul and body caused by his possession makes him unwelcome among both dragons and humans. Thereafter he follows the witches in learning magic and writing, banding together with other marginalized beings rejected by the world, and after gaining a territory gradually manages and farms it, combining Earth's scientific thinking with otherworldly magic to improve magical weapons and invent all sorts of novel creations. The work has no rigorous leveling system, instead excelling in worldbuilding, slice-of-life daily routine, and a light, humorous tone, blending adventure, management, and fantasy ecology.
Editor's review

FAQ
