Robin #77

Summary
This issue of Robin, titled "Dark is the Night," is written by Chuck Dixon and drawn by Pete Woods and belongs to the run in which Tim Drake serves as Robin. Man-Bat is appearing everywhere in Gotham City; Robin seeks help from private detective Jason Bard to deal with the situation and obtains from Bard four doses of antidote made from Kirk Langstrom's serum. Following the trail to the riverside, he first fights Francine Langstrom and restores her to human form, only to learn that her son Aaron has been a Man-Bat since birth. Robin tries to use Aaron to find his father, but Aaron is attacked by the new villain the hunter Yeager; Robin is then entangled by Kirk's daughter Becky and can only give chase after Francine intervenes to help. Yeager faces both Aaron and his father Kirk and is ultimately subdued. Robin successfully injects the antidote into Kirk and Becky, and the family is reunited. Aaron, however, is congenitally mutated and still needs to find another cure. This is issue #77 of the series; it has nothing to do with Marvel Comics, and information on the Chinese-language version is unknown.
Editor's review

FAQ
