The story begins with the Day of Destiny's Arrival: the real world merges with a game created by deities, ancient gates of hell open, and millennium-spanning medieval mysteries along with secrets buried deep in human history begin to peel away layer by layer. The world is torn in two—half purgatory, half paradise—and the boundary between illusion and reality blurs and intertwines, with everything seemingly under the deities' control. An ancient serpent like a primordial dragon coils in subterranean caverns, medieval rat catchers roam the streets, torrential rain floods cities, and the White Emperor City and the Gates of Hell appear one after another.

Protagonist Murong Yongye struggles to survive in this world where illusion and reality interweave. While completing the tasks and side quests assigned by the game, he investigates the unnatural patterns of underground spaces, comparing geological anomalies with supernatural phenomena, gradually piecing together the truth of higher-dimensional beings interfering with humanity's survival. The work blends material such as medieval legends and alchemical weapons with settings like constellation trials and Azure Dragon tokens, following the evolution and infinite flow genres: the protagonist achieves self-evolution through constant puzzle-solving, trials, and combat, ultimately aiming to crack the ancient laws and unleash the ultimate power in order to answer the ultimate riddle.
