Summary
Red Robin is the DC Comics series of the same name that ran from 2009 to 2011, 26 issues in total, starring Tim Drake, the third Robin. The story picks up right after Batman R.I.P., Final Crisis, and Battle for the Cowl: Bruce Wayne is believed dead at Darkseid's hands, Dick Grayson has taken up the Batman mantle, and Damian Wayne has become the new Robin. Within the Bat-family, Tim is the only one convinced that Bruce is still alive. He therefore sets aside the Robin identity, leaves Gotham under the name Red Robin, and begins a solo global search. In the first arc, The Grail, he rescues a hostage in a foreign country, is immediately ambushed by the League of Assassins, and is forced to deal with Batman's old enemy Ra's al Ghul, who is also searching for Bruce. Later arcs such as The Council of Spiders, Collision, and The Hit List follow: Tim must maneuver between the League of Assassins and internal traitors, and cooperate with and sometimes oppose family members including the new Batman, Robin, and Batgirl. The core of the series is growth and loss: how a young man, after losing his mentor and his identity, redefines who he is through a detective's mind and sheer stubbornness. Tim's reasoning ability, strategic thinking, and refusal to give up are placed front and center. Chinese edition details remain to be verified.
Editor's review

FAQ
