The Eighth Grand Seat

The Eighth Grand Seat is a derivative fan-fiction web novel by the author "Like Sunshine," serialized on Qidian and now completed, totaling roughly 2.87 million Chinese characters. The story is built on the setting system of the Type-Moon world: the protagonist, Kurashige Ruka, was originally a background figure in the story of The Garden of Sinners—male, 143 cm tall and weighing 33 kg, with the attribute "Chaos · Evil," and compatible classes including Assassin, Saber, Rider, Lancer, Caster, Archer, and Alter Ego. Born without human emotions, he obtains a nameless Saint Graph from "Root Ryougi" in a certain incident, gaining the ability to construct Saint Graphs and play the role of Servants, allowing him to travel and adventure between different worlds. The book opens with the Garden of Sinners arc: the protagonist navigates familiar characters and events such as the Ryougi mansion, the serial murder case, and Miyamoto Musashi, completing missions and honing his strength while searching for the emotions he has lost, gradually moving toward becoming the eighth "Grand" existence. The work belongs to the anime-style infinite-worlds genre, with a brisk pace that emphasizes setting research and character interaction; it suits readers with some familiarity with the Fate series and the Type-Moon worldview.
