Volume 6

This is a twelve-volume collection of Western hero comics, numbered 1 through 12, and this is Volume 6. Judging from the table of contents clues, the series includes the main Superman title, Smallville Season 11, and Marvel Comics content, aimed at readers who want to gather multiple strands of hero stories in one set; it can be read straight through in volume order or dipped into one volume at a time. Volume 6 sits in the middle: the background has already been laid out in earlier volumes and the story continues afterward, so it suits readers who have read the first few volumes and want to keep going. If you are just starting out, it is best to confirm what this volume collects before deciding where to begin, so you do not hit a plot gap halfway through. The editors balance Superman stories from different eras, and the visual styles and density of information vary widely, so reading it feels more like browsing a sampler of hero comics than following a single continuous series. Note that the exact Chinese publisher, publication year, and translator information for this collection could not be verified; when buying, rely on the copyright page and table of contents of the physical book rather than on piecemeal information found online.
