Volume 59

This volume is the 59th in the "08" series, a Marvel comics collection series arranged consecutively by volume number; volumes 54, 55, 59, and 63 of the same series are visible under this catalog. Judging from the original comic issue number corresponding to this volume, it most likely corresponds to Avengers Vol. 8 #59, written by Jason Aaron (released August 10, 2022). In that issue, to oppose the demon lord Mephisto and his multiversal "Crimson Council," the Avengers continue traveling backward in time to the era of the origins of various heroes' powers. Their previous journeys have taken them to the "Supreme Soldier" and the Secret Avengers of World War II and to the "Ghost Rider Ronin" of the Edo period. This time, the team arrives in the nineteenth-century American West and encounters a Western duo appearing as legendary historical heroes—Rena Phoenix and Star Brand Kid—whose six-shooters are loaded with the most powerful forces in the heavens. However, Mephisto has given the "Devil's Gang" hellish guns and abilities, and a battle of good versus evil unfolds on the Western frontier. It should be noted that the specific contents of this volume must be based on the actual publication; because no official Chinese edition bibliographic data could be verified, information such as author, publisher, publication year, ISBN, and word count is temporarily unavailable. The volumes in this series are relatively independent, so readers can read them in order or pick up any single volume.
