Volume 57

07 Volume 57 is the 57th volume collected in the 07 series. From the available table-of-contents clues, this series mainly collects DC and Marvel-related Western superhero comics, among which entries related to Smallville Season 11 currently circulate most widely; Volume 57 is one volume in that series. Smallville Season 11 is a comic continuation launched by DC Comics after the ten-season run of The CW's Smallville ended. Its story picks up after the series finale: Clark Kent formally puts on the Superman suit and appears publicly as Superman, while also facing Lois Lane, daily life in Metropolis, old and new enemies, and the lingering questions of his Kryptonian past. The comic format allows it to stage the grand set pieces and cross-character team-ups that the TV series could not afford, so veteran viewers often regard it as the official "eleventh season." This is the 57th volume of the series; the contents belong only to this volume, and the specific issues and plot developments should be confirmed against the physical book (or the corresponding original issues); no invented description is given here. For readers following this collection volume by volume, Volume 57 is a point continuing after Volume 56. It is best placed within the whole series timeline and read in order rather than understood in isolation.
