Judging from the clue involving Smallville Season 11, this work is the official comic continuation released by DC Comics after the ten-season finale of the CW series Smallville. It continues the worldview in which Clark Kent formally puts on the Superman suit and grows up in Smallville, and tells the story after he becomes the guardian of Metropolis. This comic series includes plots such as Clark's first public appearance as Superman, Lex Luthor's return, and Superman being chosen by a Green Lantern ring, and it brings Batman, Wonder Woman, and other characters who had previously been unable to enter the series because of film and television rights into the same world.
