The book is modest in size—over 500,000 characters and 240 chapters—with tight pacing and a clear leveling line: from escaping the well and entering Yinxian Town, to the sect minor tournament, trading fairs, and successive secret-realm trials, then to artifact refining, alchemy, taking disciples, and factional strife, the everyday texture of the cultivation world is laid out in considerable detail. Place names like Yinxian Town, Qingqiu City, the Sea of No Return, and Dragon Saliva Valley also reveal the author's care in building a complete cultivation geography. It should be noted upfront that, due to poor performance, the book stopped updating after the grand finale, and the author specifically apologized to readers at the end; the story's conclusion leans toward "bowing to reality" rather than a fully developed long-form structure. If you enjoy short, brisk cultivation tales with plenty of lived-in atmosphere, where the protagonist is calculating yet warm, this is worth a read; if you expect a grand worldview and meticulous system, you may feel it leaves you wanting more.
