Ring of Dynasty

Ring of Dynasty is an Eastern fantasy novel by the web author Yucheng, first serialized on Chuangshi Chinese Network. The story unfolds in a great era of energy rings: energy rings can condense mountains and rivers and transform the stars, and are the source of power, status, and wealth. Su Qinghe, a young man of common birth, by a stroke of luck obtains an intelligent ring from a constellation beyond the heavens, and his fate turns from then on. On the surface he is merely an ordinary student, but in secret he gradually gathers power and controls an underground dynasty, determined to tear open this night sky and carve out a world of his own. The work centers on Su Qinghe's growth, from the expulsion scandal, cheating investigation, and crisis attacks at school, to meeting Li Mubai and others and entering the Ring Gaming Hall, then to transformative cultivation and clashes with various factions, extending all the way to the auction assembly, master ring-crafters, the Chaos Ranking and the Five Elements Ranking, and ever grander stages. The book sets out fairly detailed rules for refining, upgrading, and combat use of energy rings; the protagonist shuttles between school, underground forces, and the world of cultivation, gradually uncovering the secrets behind the universe, the Divine Kings, and the constellations beyond the heavens. The book is long with many chapters, a typical male-oriented hot-blooded growth fantasy, with a main line of a youth rising from adversity, seizing power, and contending for resources, along with elements of friendship, grudges, and the building of families and dynasties.
