Kick-Ass 3 Vol. 4

Summary
Kick-Ass 3 is the final chapter of the Kick-Ass series by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr., and the canonical sequel to Kick-Ass 2. The story takes place after Hit-Girl is arrested and imprisoned: Dave Lizewski, having lost his partner, has just graduated from high school and still insists on fighting organized crime as Kick-Ass, only to find himself dodging both the police and the mob while also facing deepening divisions within his team. This volume is the fourth of the series (corresponding to the original issue #4), and the conflict escalates further: Kick-Ass has had enough of the newest and least reliable member of the "Justice Forever" team and finally decides to have it out, while it remains unknown whether the rest of his teammates will stand by him; meanwhile, Chris Genovese, once known as "Red Mist" and now fallen on hard times, is receiving his "education" under the most feared mob boss of the Genovese family. The series as a whole continues its trademark style of portraying "real-world superheroes" in a gritty, brutal, darkly humorous way, and paves the way for the conclusion of this generation of street heroes.
Editor's review

FAQ
