Roving in the Flower Capital

Roving in the Flower Capital is an urban-themed web novel by I Am Crazy. The protagonist, Li Qiang, was once a legendary bodyguard in the underworld, a man of extraordinary skill who struck fear into the hearts of top assassins and once served as personal guard to the president of Country Y. Weary of living by the blade, he chooses to return to the city, hoping for a quiet and stable life—only to be drawn again and again into tangled feuds and schemes. Faced with one trouble after another, he is forced to act once more and strike back hard, nipping conspiracy after conspiracy in the bud; and against any enemy who would harm those close to him, he shows no mercy. The story unfolds amid urban workplace struggles, business maneuvering, and contests among underground forces, while also developing Li Qiang's emotional entanglements with Fang Min, Chen Lin, Nian Qing, and other women. The book carries on the brisk pacing and hot-blooded spirit of male-oriented urban fiction: the protagonist is both hard and ruthless, yet protective of those around him, and the ending gives Li Qiang a fairly satisfying resolution.
