Roaming the Myriad Heavens is a myriad-heavens infinite-flow novel by Baxiake, serialized on Qidian since 2017 and completed in July 2019. It runs about 3.6691 million characters in over 1,700 chapters. The story begins in the Dharma-Ending Age: after countless kalpas, the era of cultivation is coming to an end, and the last of the qi fortune combines with the 'one that escaped' of the Great Dao to become a supreme treasure, the Myriad Heavens Chessboard, which falls into the hands of the last cultivator of the Dharma-Ending Age. The protagonist, Fang Qingshan, is the eldest son of the second branch of the Fang family in Longyuan Province of the Dali Dynasty. Sabotaged while in his mother's womb, he is congenitally deficient and cannot practice martial arts, so day after day he only performs health-preserving boxing to strengthen his body. After obtaining the Myriad Heavens Chessboard, he uses foreknowledge to scheme in the main world, 'Eternal Life,' gradually gaining qi fortune and lighting up the pieces representing the Three Thousand Great Daos and Three Thousand Worlds, thus shuttling through worlds such as Tianlong, Shu Mountain, Three Kingdoms, Investiture of the Gods and the Primordial World, fighting for fragments of the Jianmu tree, refining wonders such as the Five-Cloud Peach Blossom Miasma, and tempering his physical realm with martial arts such as Tai Chi. The main plot follows his collection of supreme treasure fragments and the reenactment of the 'one that escaped,' while the Eternal Sky Ship serves as the core: within it he opens small worlds with different functions, trains Dao soldiers, pilots it through the void and clashes with many powerful figures, finally fighting his way into the Primordial World. Fast-paced with many arcs, the book is a typical commercial myriad-heavens power fantasy.
