Wrath of the Magic God

Wrath of the Magic God is a Western fantasy novel by the web author Mengyuan Zhongqiu. It began serialization on Qidian Chinese Network in February 2014 and is now complete, totaling 587 chapters across several volumes, including "Eight Gods of the Demon Moon," "Hell on Earth," "Angel's Kiss," and "I Am a Demon." The story is set in an otherworld called the Sky Continent. In the spring of the 8256th year of the Bronze Universe calendar, a reckless youth from Earth is transported there through a bizarre incident. He soon discovers that the world he has entered is one where gods and demons mingle and order is strict, leaving the weak almost no place to stand. After witnessing the murder of his kin and the destruction of his family, the power of the "Red Lotus" within him is fully provoked, and he sets out on a path of revenge and resistance. The work's central concept is "emotional fire": the protagonist materializes his emotions as flame, and the flame has nine star fire gates, each of which multiplies its power when opened. Different emotions—anger, sorrow, fear, joy—correspond to different flame colors and abilities, forming a power system that can advance endlessly. As he grows, he founds the organization Demon Moon, beats the Demon-Gathering Drum, establishes the Demon-Sealing Ranking, and divides demonic experts into seven grades—red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and purple—while recruiting companions far and wide. Around Demon Moon and the Demon-Sealing Ranking, the work unfolds major events in turn—the Battle of the Orange Demons, the Battle of the Green Demons, the Battle of the Cyan Demons, and the Battle of the Purple Demons—interweaving guild rivalries, formation duels, battles of gods and demons, and passionate growth into a fantasy era in which "demons abound."
