Venom Vol. 35

This volume is issue #35 of the 2011–2013 Venom series, titled "Night of the Symbiote Slayers." The story takes place at West Philadelphia High School: Flash Thompson—the current Venom and the government agent known as Agent Venom—is working on campus when he suddenly spots Eddie Brock, the former Venom host now bonded with the Toxin symbiote, among the students. The two had already clashed violently the night before, and Eddie has tracked Flash to the school, intending to drag him somewhere secluded and settle their grudge. Just as they confront each other, a group of cyborg "Symbiote Slayers" dedicated to hunting symbiotes storms the campus and begins attacking students and teachers. The students inside, along with Andi, the girl Flash has sworn to protect, are all in danger. Flash insists on protecting the innocent first, and Eddie reaches a temporary alliance with him on that one bottom line: fight side by side for now, settle scores later. In their Agent Venom and Toxin forms—one charging head-on, the other waging guerrilla warfare from the ventilation shafts—the two plunge into a chaotic battle with the Slayers, while a larger conspiracy begins to surface.
