Venom #28 belongs to Marvel's Venom Volume 2, launched in 2011; it is issue #28, titled "The Land Where the Killers Dwell," released on December 19, 2012. This issue is the key installment in which Cullen Bunn takes over Venom and moves the story's stage to Philadelphia; it marks the start of the series' Philadelphia era and is the 28th issue of the series.
