Wuxia Rebirth

Wuxia Rebirth is a long-running web novel by Dashuaifei, serialized on Qidian from May 23, 2015, and completed on February 22, 2016. It runs 555 chapters totaling about 1.71 million Chinese characters, divided into ten volumes. The story opens with Lin Yi, a god-tier player in the game Great Jianghu who has opened all twelve primary meridians and eight extraordinary vessels and successfully built an internal circulation, making him one of only five god-tier players in the game. Yet he is transported into the world of Great Jianghu—the very world he once fought and sacrificed for—where his attribute panel is reset to zero and he becomes "the only son of Squire Lin of Lin Manor in Yu City," a complete novice with no martial arts at all. This world blends numerous classic wuxia sects and martial arts: Shaolin, Wudang, Emei, Quanzhen, Huashan, Songshan, Hengshan, Hengshan, Taishan, Peach Blossom Island, Ming Cult, Sun Moon Holy Cult, Qingcheng, and others stand side by side, while legendary arts such as the Nine Yang Manual, Nine Yin Manual, Dou Zhuan Xing Yi, Six Meridians Divine Sword, Lingbo Weibu, Taiji Divine Art, Eighteen Dragon-Subduing Palms, Yijin Jing, Beiming Divine Art, Dugu Nine Swords, and Sunflower Manual are all passed down. At this time the imperial court is in decline, nominally maintaining order for ordinary people, but in truth the jianghu sects are the real rulers, and ordinary lives are as cheap as grass. To survive and to protect what he holds dear, Lin Yi enters the jianghu and joins the Huashan Sect, learning the Dugu Nine Swords, the Purple Twilight Divine Art, and other martial arts, rising from a third-rate fighter all the way to ennobled marquis and then king. He is drawn into the merger of the Five Mountains Sword Sects, the war between righteous and demonic factions, the Heroes' Assembly, the inheritance of divine artifacts, and ultimately the struggle for supremacy across the Nine Provinces jianghu, reaching his conclusion in Chapter 544, "Shattering the Void." Centered on the theme "wuxia never dies; it is reborn from the ashes," the novel chronicles a youth's gradual growth amid a chaotic jianghu as he rises to dominate the world and become a towering figure of his generation.
