The Peach Blossom Ring

The Peach Blossom Ring is an urban supernatural web novel by the author Changsheng Jian, first serialized on Zongheng Chinese and completed in August 2010 at roughly 1.24 million characters across 392 chapters. The protagonist, Wang Bo, is an ordinary young man who one day happens upon a ring that can grant any wish: each time he makes one, a woman enters his life because of the ring, and each of these women possesses special powers or an unusual background—a female thief bound by her own code, a miracle doctor, a feng shui master, a hacker, an agent, even a shape-shifting fox spirit and an ancient demon god. The ring's power lasts only one year; if by then he has not found its next owner, Wang Bo must suffer the backlash and a string of misfortunes.
