Light of Konoha

Light of Konoha is a Naruto fanfiction by Yuewen Group author Gaoshao Sanshiliu Du, serialized on Qidian Chinese Network and completed, with 668 chapters in total. The story begins in the early spring of Konoha year 41: Lin Yushan, a high-IQ criminal in his previous life, dies and transmigrates into the Naruto world, becoming Shimizu Soseki, a civilian orphan whose parents were lost in the Ninja World War, and starts over from the Ninja Academy. The protagonist does not take the common route of "protecting Konoha and fighting head-on with hot blood," but instead manages himself with exceptionally high emotional intelligence and a calculating style. At the start of school, he proactively helps the teacher receive new students and runs for class representative, quickly becoming classmates and companions with Sarutobi Asuma, Yuhi Kurenai, Shizune, Yamanaka Inoichi, and others, and step by step builds before the higher-ups the perfect image of "the embodiment of the Will of Fire." The ambition he sets for himself is not to become Hokage, but to study medical ninjutsu under Tsunade, while also learning genjutsu from Yuhi Shinku, Flying Thunder God from Namikaze Minato, and sealing techniques from Kushina, forging a growth path that does not rely on ocular powers. The early part of the work basically follows the original main storyline and timeline; from the middle onward it unfolds a large amount of original plot: in the Third Ninja World War the protagonist becomes famous throughout the ninja world through foreknowledge and strategy, then uses genjutsu to construct a virtual world to spread teachings and learning, and uses multiple alternate identities to sow discord and maneuver among the various forces, turning the ninja world into a pool of muddy water from which he profits. The story ultimately converges on the threat of the Otsutsuki clan and the counterattack against the Otsutsuki. The overall tone is light and humorous, and readers call it a "Naruto power-fantasy" and a "Konoha hypocrite"-style anti-trope work.
