Summary
This is issue #8 of New Avengers (the 2015 "All-New, All-Different Marvel" series), a tie-in chapter of the Marvel event Avengers: Standoff!, written by Al Ewing with art by Marcus To. The New Avengers at this point operate under the shell of A.I.M. (Advanced Idea Mechanics), bankrolled and controlled by Roberto da Costa, Sunspot, as a global rescue team owing allegiance to no government. In the Standoff! event, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s ruse in the secret community of Pleasant Hill is exposed by the hacker Whisperer; after being captured, Whisperer sends a distress message to A.I.M. Whether to storm S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Helicarrier head-on becomes a question the team must settle by vote: the majority choose to act, while Squirrel Girl, Wiccan, and Hulkling oppose it and are sent by Sunspot into the desert to "keep their hands clean." Songbird, White Tiger, Power Man, and Hawkeye then raid the Helicarrier holding Whisperer, clashing head-on with S.H.I.E.L.D. forces including Deathlok, Daisy Johnson (Quake), and Agent May. The operation appears to succeed, but it pushes A.I.M. into opposition with international law and the state apparatus. Centered on the heroes' moral divisions and the dilemma of "save a person or obey the law," this issue is a pivotal turn in the storyline.

如果你读复仇者读多了，会发现真正好看的往往不是打赢谁，而是“该不该打”。这一期新复仇者把镜头从宇宙级危机拉回到一次近乎鲁莽的营救：A.I.M.披着合法外衣做救援，神盾局举着秩序大旗关人，两边的理都站得住，两边的做法都让人不安。艾尔·尤因很擅长写群像和嘴炮——松鼠女、巫士、浩克林投票反对后被“礼貌地流放”到沙漠，几乎把队伍内部的价值观裂缝摊在桌上；而鸣鸟、白虎、鹰眼这批“没那么强”的角色负责执行最脏的一手，反而更有张力。作为《危境僵局》的联动刊，它既能独立看懂，又能补上主线没细说的动机与代价。画面上马库斯·托的分镜干净利落，动作戏与对话戏节奏都不拖。想追“全新全异”时期复仇者线、或者想看看英雄们如何被制度逼到墙角，这一册值得单独收。
