Series: This is issue #4 of Defenders Vol. 5 (2017), written by Brian Michael Bendis and drawn by David Marquez, published by Marvel Comics in August 2017. The story picks up from the previous issue: the Punisher opens fire on the Defenders as they pursue "Drill" Willis Stryker, but uses non-lethal tranquilizer rounds, his motive a mystery. Luke Cage and Daredevil team up to capture the Punisher but get no confession out of him; Jessica Jones and Iron Fist, while on stakeout, encounter Drill, whose Iron Fist chi blast is easily blocked and who is then bent in half at the waist—showing Drill's power far exceeds everyone's expectations.
