Emperor of Emotion is a long fantasy web novel by Baishi Jinglun. Serialization began on Hongshu Novel Network in September 2014 and concluded in November 2020, spanning roughly 3.75 million Chinese characters and 1,189 chapters. The protagonist, Xuan Yuan Wuming, having accumulated through the reincarnation of "a thousand lives sharing one fate," is reborn with ultimate fortune into an otherworld where martial spirits are paramount. Born into a declining branch of the Xuan Yuan family, he grows up amid worldly prejudice and the coldness of human relations, and was once forced by family and social convention to part from his true love.
