Inhuman, Volume 6

This is Volume 6 of the series, corresponding to issue #6, "Trial by Fire," of Marvel's Inhuman (2014–2015). The story continues from earlier events: the Terrigen Mist is spreading across the globe, activating the hidden Inhuman genes of many, and ordinary people are transforming into NuHumans with superpowers. Meanwhile, Black Bolt, king of the Inhumans, has gone missing, and Queen Medusa leads her people to rebuild their home in New Attilan on the Hudson River. In this volume, the deposed former Inhuman ruler, the Unspoken, invades New Attilan with his forces and occupies it, and most of the Inhuman royal family are captured. At this critical moment, the newly awakened NuHumans—Dante, codenamed Inferno, who can control fire; Flint, who can manipulate rock; and Naja and others—must step forward and face the powerful enemy in their own way, despite their still-unrefined abilities. The story advances on two fronts, the old and new Inhumans: the loss and restructuring of royal authority on one side, and the confusion and choices of ordinary people suddenly granted power on the other. This volume is both a battle of attack and defense and the true starting point of the NuHumans' growth. Because the exact contents and page count of the Chinese edition have not been verified, this description covers only the content of original issue #6; the actual volume may include adjacent issues.
