About the author
Wong Cho-keung (Huang Yi, 1952–2017) was a Hong Kong novelist of wuxia and fantasy fiction. He graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and served as assistant curator at the Hong Kong Museum of Art before retreating to Lantau Island in 1989 to devote himself to writing. His major works include A Step into the Past, The Twin of the Tang Dynasty, Shattered Void and Rain and Cloud, alongside long series such as The Legend of the Borderlands, Sun and Moon in the Sky, Interstellar Wanderer and the Ling Du Yu collection, with fourteen titles held in this catalog. Blending history, science fiction and martial arts, his writing expanded the boundaries of traditional wuxia through time travel, otherworldly settings and adventurous imagination, founding the “fantasy wuxia” school and deeply influencing Chinese-language web literature.
